Once you have tested your connection, click OK and de-select the check box next to Save so that Dreamweaver will not store your password (you might have to re-enter your password). Note: IT does not recommend that you save your password in Dreamweaver.
Click Test (under the Password: field) to check if you set up your site definition correctly. Note: You must enter these directory names exactly as they appear here or your site definition will not work. If the URL of your site begins with enter /usr/cwis/http/htdocs/dept. If the URL for the site you wish to manage begins with, or, enter public_html/. In the Password: field, enter your IT Account password (for personal use) or Subsidiary IT Account password (for departmental use). In the Username: field, enter your IT Account NetID (for personal use) or Subsidiary IT Account user name (for departmental use). From the Connect using: drop-down menu, select SFTP. In the Server Name: field, enter Web Admin. From the options at left, click Servers, then click the plus (+) icon. We recommend that you create a separate folder. Note: Store copies of all the files you use to build your Web site in this folder, including images, documents, and other media files. Next to the Local Site Folder: field, click Browse for Windows or the Browse icon for Macintosh ( ) and select the folder on your computer where you would like to store the files from your Web site. 
This is especially important if you manage more than one Web site with Dreamweaver. We recommend using a name that is easily recognizable and identifies your site clearly. This name will only appear in Dreamweaver menus to identify your site.
